Welcome! I’m Karen Velichka, Registered Psychologist in Calgary, Alberta. I provide counselling services (via Telepsychology) for clients residing in Alberta, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Nunavut.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan, and a Master of Arts degree in Psychology (Emphasis in Counselling) from Webster University (Netherlands). I am licensed, and in good standing, with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
While the foundation of my practice is in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I also utilize a Person-Centred approach with my clients. EMDR is also utlized when appropriate. This combination provides connection, validation, collaboration, and structure to achieving your goals.
